Die Coronography-Karte verlinkt Kurzfilme von Filmschaffenden
Die interaktive Filmkarte Coronography ist nach intensiver Arbeit nun online gegangen. Die Karte verlinkt kurze Filme von Filmschaffenden aus Deutschland und der ganzen Welt, die vor allem in den ersten Wochen der Corona Pandemie entstanden sind. Die Filme sind mit ihrem Drehdatum versehen und über ihren Drehort auf der Karte auffind- und abrufbar. Außerdem kann man einzelne Filme nach ihren Themen über Schlagworte suchen. Die Karte wird auch vom DOK.fest München präsentiert und wir wollen sie in Zukunft auch immer wieder auf docfilm42 vorstellen und verlinken.
Hier die Projektbeschreibung von Coronography Project:
„The world is not the same since the coronavirus outbreak. Millions have been infected, hundreds of thousands died, and the final toll of Covid-19 is destined to be even higher: secondary impacts – poverty, hunger, diseases, and violence exacerbated by the pandemic – may dwarf the number of those who perish of the coronavirus itself.
Within a few weeks, life has profoundly changed for almost everybody – also for filmmakers. Projects have been interrupted or cancelled altogether; funds have been frozen. But instead of waiting out the crisis in our home offices, we call upon filmmakers everywhere to join forces in narrating the impact of coronavirus on our lives: CORONOGRAPHY is a collective project that will constantly evolve, expand and grow – much alike the numbers and curves of Covid-19 that will continue to shape our lives in the weeks and months to come.
CORONOGRAPHY’s interactive map shows the first wave of films created during the initial weeks of the pandemic, despite all the restrictions. They were made by filmmakers associated with the German documentary associations AG DOK and DOCFILMPOOL e.V.. The interactive map is a platform to make them easily accessible.
