Movie Info:
A blind person is probably the least person you’d expect to be a photographer. Shot in the dark is an intimate portrait of three successful artists who have one thing in common: visual impairment as a starting point for their visual explorations. This film poses fundamental questions about seeing and the imagination and enriches our understanding of perception and creation. We all close our eyes in sleep, the sighted and blind alike, and in our dreams – we see.

Am Sonntag, 24. Januar 2021 ab 19 Uhr Filmvorführung von „Shot in the Dark“ (von Frank Amann) und Gespräch. Der Film wird an diesem Abend kostenfrei online zu sehen sein (nach vorheriger Anmeldung unter event@docfilm42.de). „Shot in the Dark“ gibt es ab Februar 2021 auf docfilm42.de. 

19 Uhr – Kurze Einführung / Gespräch Valerie Herrmann (docfilm42) mit Regisseur Frank Amann.
19.15 Uhr – Film Screening „Shot in the Dark“ (Englisch OV, Deutschen Untertitel + Audio Deskription via Greta App).
ca. 20.40 Uhr – Filmgespräch & Publikum Q&A mit Regisseur Frank Amann, Gerald Pirner und die Protagonisten Bruce Hall, Sonia Soberats und Pete Eckert

Der Film wird kostenlos gezeigt – das Gespräch via Zoom- und der Film via Vimeo-Link. Wir bitten um vorherige Anmeldung (möglichst bis Sonntag, 17 Uhr) unter event@docfilm42.de. Nach Anmeldung wird der Link zu Gespräch und Filmstream per Mail bekannt gegeben.
